SVG Tiny 1.2 Published as a W3C Recommendation

W3C announced the publication of the Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) Tiny 1.2 specification as a W3C Recommendation. You can find more informations here.

Opera 9.6 is available

Opera 9.6 is the first Browser which has a 100% pass rate for ACID3. Because of this Opera 9.5 is an optimal browser to visualize SVG maps.

Firefox 3.0.3 Final is available

SVG rendering is much faster with Firefox 3. Many SVG bugs from Firefox 2 are solved.

Google Chrome Beta is available

A new browser called Google Chrome is available. At the moment this browser is in beta state but it has already full native SVG support. All SVG maps created with MapViewSVG 7 can be displayed on this browser. Only some small problems are found with the current version of Google Chrome.

uismedia at SVGOpen 2008

MapViewSVG 7 released

Also good things can be done better! Therefore the functionality of MapViewSVG 7 has grown. MapViewSVG 7.0.5 now support the Renesis Player, a new SVG Plugin for the Microsoft InternetExplorer.
