Users are welcome to subscribe free of charge to the "Earth Observation Weekly Newsletter", which is sent by email every week, usually on Thursdays. It contains information about the latest technical news, ERS and Envisat planning activities, special images, planned events, documentation and tools related to ESA and ESA supported Third Party Earth Observation missions.
The previously announced technical problems at the Beijing station have been solved,
and the ERS-2 High Rate (HR) operations have been resumed as from 23 December 2008.
The 4th International Workshop on Science and Applications of SAR Polarimetry and Polarimetric Interferometry - POLinSAR 2009 - will be hosted in ESRIN, Italy and is open to ESA Principal Investigators, scientists and students working in the field of SAR Polarimetry and Polarimetric Interferometry (Pol-InSAR), and to representatives from National, European and International space agencies. The deadline for abstract submission is 30 September 2008.
