On September 17, 2008, in support of the restoration of areas damaged by Hurricane Ike, Aerial Viewpoint obtained spec aerial imagery of Bolivar and Galveston Island and Bolivar Peninsula to High Island. This vertical aerial imagery is flown in color at a 1" = 1000' negative scale (sub 6" pixel resolution). This imagery is available in both digital and hard copy (color prints, contact prints and diapositives).

In addition, Aerial Viewpoint and M7 Visual Intelligence (http://www.m7vi.com/ike.html) teamed up to collect imagery of this same area. This data set is extremely high resolution (5 inch pixel resolution), GIS ready color imagery and was collected using M7 Visual Intelligence’s Iris One digital airborne sensor. Current U.S.G.S. camera calibration certificates are available for each mapping camera.
