Fall colors have given way to bare trees and traces of snow cover throughout the northland.  While some would say this is not the prettiest time of the year, there are some advantages to aerial photos taken at this time.  Ground features like trails, small drainage ways, rock outcrops and other features obscurred by thick foliage of the other seasons are now visible.

Aero-Environmental Consulting always tries to shoot aerials only during the best weather conditions.  Late fall and early winter is the most unpredictable time of the year for flight planning.  Therefore, to assure the highest quality aerial images possible it is imparative to schedule your shoots with plenty of lead time so when good conditions arrive, your site can be included in a photo mission. 

TRUE VERTICAL AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY:  Aero-Environmental Consulting is proud to announce that true vertical aerial photography services are now available.  After several months of development our vertical camera mount and in-aircraft monitoring system has been tested and produces great results.  With detailed flightline planning and data entry into our GPS, true vertical strip images of linear features like road construction projects are possible.  With multi-overlapping flightlines, true vertical stitched mosaics are possible for larger non-linear coverage.  Examples will be posted to the gallery in the near future.

CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS: Another high value service we provide is construction progress aerial photography.  Construction progress aerials provide excellent documentation of projects through time.  Periodic (usually at least monthly) similar views of a project keep all entities of the project team informed of the project status and can be used by project managers for planning and/or for field engineers to help contractors identify areas needing attention.  Corporate managers and stockholders, even when located far from the project location are kept well informed of the progress.

The gallery is finally in the process of a complete overhaul.  Many old images have been removed and additional images of interesting cities, towns, lakes, real estate, construction projects, resort images and/or other fun images are being added just about daily until the update is completed. Aero-Environmental Consulting provides aerial photography services for public, private and commercial real estate marketing, land development planning and/or business advertisement. Graphical annotation of digital images showing property boundaries, site access roadways, surrounding recreational trails, lakes, streams, and/or any other features a client wants to help market a property or development. Annotated aerial images also highlight locations for either business promotion, development potential or sale.

Several of last years aerial images with overlayed annotated lakeshore plats have helped to sell all the available lots. Aero-Environmental Consulting solves the problem of assessing actual "as is" conditions at project sites by providing aerial photographic enhancements for environmental site assessments, geologic and hydrogeologic investigations, wetland delineation and storm water management projects.
