The imagery was originally compressed at 20:1 instead of 15:1. It is anticipated that this will also resolve the unreadable JPG2000 issue for AutoCAD users. The Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) endorsed the Geographic Information Framework Data Standard in May 2008. This Standard establishes common requirements for data exchange for seven themes of geospatial data that are of critical importance to the NSDI, as they are fundamental to many different GIS applications.
