London Centre for GNSS Research
(LCGR)
The London Centre for GNSS Research (LCGR) combines the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) expertise of UCLs Department of Geomatic Engineering and the Engineering Geomatics Group at Imperial College London. Both departments have an established research record in a variety of areas relating to GNSS system design, modelling and applications. The LCGR is led jointly by Professor Paul Cross (UCL) and Prof. Washington Ochieng (Imperial College London), who together have over 30 years experience in GNSS related research. The centre conducts fundamental and applied research and offers a consultancy service to the GNSS industry. Research interests at the LCGR include; GNSS system design; quality description and modelling; integration of GNSS with other systems; high precision carrier phase applications; and the development of innovative and novel GNSS applications.
