Laser Scanning Technology
Laser scanning is a new technology that collects thousands of discrete 3D coordinates in seconds. Plowman Craven were early adopters of this technology being the first survey company in Europe to purchase the Cyrax 2500 laser scanner.
Today we operate six different scanners including Europe's first Leica HDS 3000 360° colour laser scanner.
In 2005 we were the first surveying company in the world to operate a Perceptron sub mm laser scanner capable of scanning down to 10 microns.
