Services: Land Surveying: Terrestrial Laser Scanning

Loomis Austin, Inc. utilizes the powerful Optech ILRIS 3D Terrestrial Laser Scanning system to quickly and accurately acquire as-built and topographic survey data.  The time-of-flight scanning system surveys the subject area with an eye-safe laser to produce a geometrically correct point cloud model.  Using the Polyworks software suite, LAI survey staff ties the point cloud model to survey ground control and extracts feature and topographic data for use in an appropriate mapping application.
